Guido Janssen appointed CEO of Nyrstar
Wednesday January 31, 2024Budel-Dorplein, 31 January 2024 - Guido Janssen - currently Nyrstar's Co-CEO with operational responsibility for Nyrstar's European and US operations - has been appointed Global CEO of the Nyrstar Group effective Friday 2 February 2024.
Dale Webb has resigned from Nyrstar for personal reasons after three and a half years in senior executive positions with the company, most recently as Global Co-CEO. Dale joined Nyrstar in June 2020 in the role of Vice President Australian Operations and has been Co-CEO with Guido Janssen since December 2022. As part of this transition, Dale will continue to support Guido and the Nyrstar teams until the end of March.
From Friday 2 February 2024, Guido will be responsible for the company's global operations in Europe, Australia and the US. Australian operational and functional leaders will report to the Nyrstar Group CEO, while a review of reporting structures is completed.
